Processes & Tools
Carved from poplar wood using traditional tools, "Doda"
captures the energy of the Kokpar game. The piece was created
during the years 1994-1997 and reflects a period of intense
cultural exploration. The artist worked meticulously to
preserve the raw texture of the wood, enhancing its natural
grains and knots to evoke the strength and movement of the
riders.
